Τρία καινούργια προϊόντα παρουσιάστηκαν από την Kingston στα πλαίσια της CES 2016, η οποία παραδοσιακά διεξάγεται τις πρώτες ημέρες κάθε έτους στο Las Vegas, με την φετινή έκθεση ηλεκτρονικών ειδών να λαμβάνει χώρα από τις 6 έως 9 Ιανουαρίου. Πρόκειται για τα Kingston USB DT200, το νέο USB flash drive της εταιρείας με κρυπτογράφηση, τον Kingston SSD KC400, ένα καινούργιο δίσκο SSD, καθώς και το Kingston Mobile Lite Wireless Generation 3: MLWG3, τη νέα έκδοση του ασύρματου card reader, που επιτρέπει ασύρματη μεταφορά φωτογραφιών και άλλων αρχείων καθώς και ασύρματο streaming στα smartphones και tablets, σύμφωνα με την ενημέρωση από την εταιρεία.
Το USB DT200 φέρει ένα πληκτρολόγιο για μεγαλύτερη ασφάλεια χρήσης, ενώ προσφέρει AES 256-bit κρυπτογράφηση. Επιπλέον, είναι κατασκευασμένο από αλουμίνιο, με στόχο την αυξημένη ανθεκτικότητα σε νερό και σκόνη. Τρεις εκδόσεις θα γίνουν διαθέσιμες στην αγορά, στα 16, 32 και 64 GB αποθηκευτικού χώρου, ενώ οι μέγιστοι ρυθμοί ανάγνωσης και εγγραφής είναι 135 MB/s και 40 MB/s, για τις δύο ακριβότερες εκδόσεις. Από την άλλη, ο SSD KC400, που αποτελεί το νεότερο μέλος στην γκάμα των SSDNow δίσκων της εταιρείας, προσφέρει 15πλάσιες ταχύτητες σε σύγκριση με τους κλασσικούς σκληρούς δίσκους (HDD), ενώ σε αυτόν έχουν ενσωματωθεί οι πιο πρόσφατες τεχνολογίες της Kingston. Πέντε χρόνια εγγύησης συνοδεύουν τον εν λόγω SSD, ο οποίος θα γίνει διαθέσιμος στην αγορά σε χωρητικότητες 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB και 1 TB, με βάρος 60 g και μέγιστο ρυθμό εγγραφής και ανάγνωσης 530 και 550 MB/s αντίστοιχα.
Τέλος, το καινούργιο Mobile Lite Wireless θα γίνει διαθέσιμο σε δύο εκδόσεις, με ονομασία MobileLite® Wireless G3 και MobileLite® Wireless Pro. Τα δύο συγκεκριμένα προϊόντα έχουν την δυνατότητα φόρτισης ασύρματων συσκευών και μεταφοράς υλικού από αυτές, σύμφωνα με το σχετικό δελτίο Τύπου, ενώ διαθέτουν θύρες USB και καρτών SD. Επιπρόσθετα, το MobileLite Wireless Pro, το οποίο φέρει ίδια χαρακτηριστικά με το MobileLite Wireless G3, έχει μεγαλύτερη χωρητικότητα μπαταρίας και 64 GB αποθηκευτικού χώρου.Ακολουθούν τα τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά των δύο Mobile Lite Wireless, όπως και των δύο προαναφερθέντων προϊόντων.
