Οι νικητές των Golden Joystick Awards 2016

Καλύτερο παιχνίδι το Dark Souls III, βραβεία σε Eiji Aonuma και Lara Croft.

Με οικοδεσπότη τον κωμικό James Veitch, ανακοινώθηκαν σε μια ειδική δεξίωση, σήμερα στο Λονδίνο, οι νικητές των Golden Joystick Awards 2016. Ανάμεσα στους διακριθέντες τίτλους βρίσκονται τα Fallout 4, για τον καλύτερο ήχο, Pokemon GO, ως το καλύτερο παιχνίδι για φορητό σύστημα και The Witcher III: Blood and Wine, για την καλύτερη ιστορία. Επίσης, ως πιο επιθυμητό παιχνίδι ψηφίστηκε το επερχόμενο Mass Effect: Andromeda, καλύτερο studio ανακηρύχθηκε, για μια ακόμα φορά, η CD Projekt RED και καλύτερη πλατφόρμα ψηφίστηκε ξανά το Steam.

Ακόμα, το βραβείο Lifetime Achievement απονεμήθηκε στον Eiji Aonuma, ενώ καλύτερο παιχνίδι, από τα εκατομμύρια που έλαβαν μέρος στην ψηφοφορία, ανακηρύχθηκε το Dark Souls III. Από την άλλη, οι κριτικοί υπερψήφισαν ως καλύτερο τίτλο το Titanfall 2, ενώ διακρίθηκε και o Doug Cockle για την ερμηνεία του στο The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, στον ρόλο του Geralt of Rivia. Επιπλέον, το βραβείο Hall of Fame απονεμήθηκε στη Lara Croft, ενώ περισσότερες βραβεύσεις, πέντε συνολικά, είχε το Overwatch, μεταξύ των οποίων και για το πιο αυθεντικό παιχνίδι.
