DICE Awards 2016: Οι υποψηφιότητες

Μάχη μεταξύ Rise of the Tomb Raider και Witcher 3.

Γνωστές έγιναν οι υποψηφιότητες για τα επερχόμενα D.I.C.E. Awards, από την Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, ενώ σύμφωνα με την σχετική ενημέρωση την απονομή των βραβείων θα παρουσιάσει ο κωμικός Pete Holmes. Συνολικά 53 παιχνίδια είναι υποψήφια για βράβευση στα 19α D.I.C.E. Awards. Επιπλέον, κατά την διάρκεια της δεξίωσης, η οποία θα λάβει χώρα στο Las Vegas στις 18 Φεβρουαρίου, θα απονεμηθεί τιμητική διάκριση για τον Satoru Iwata, με το Lifetime Achievement Award, ενώ αποδέκτης βραβείου Hall of Fame θα γίνει ο Hideo Kojima.

Τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες συγκεντρώνουν τα Rise of the Tomb Raider και The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, με 9 και 8 αντίστοιχα, μεταξύ των οποίων και για διάκριση ως ο καλύτερος τίτλος της περασμένης χρονιάς, ενώ ακολουθούν με έξι υποψηφιότητες το Ori and the Blind Forest, με πέντε το Fallout 4, με τέσσερις τα Her Story, Star Wars Battlefront και The Order: 1886, με τα Batman: Arkham Knight, Destiny: The Taken King, Lara Croft GO, Life is Strange, Rocket League και Undertale να έχουν από τρεις υποψηφιότητες.
