Οι νικητές για τα The Game Awards 2016

Διακρίσεις για Inside, Overwatch και Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Μετά από ένα δίωρο περίπου σε διάρκεια event, έγιναν γνωστοί οι νικητές των φετινών The Game Awards που έλαβαν χώρα στο Los Angeles, με οικοδεσπότη τον Geoff Keighley. Ανάμεσα στα παιχνίδια που ξεχώρισαν ήταν το Dishonored 2 ως το καλύτερο action/adventure, το Street Fighter V ως το καλύτερο fighting, το Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End για την καλύτερη αφήγηση, το Forza Horizon 3 στα αθλητικά/racing, το That Dragon, Cancer στην κατηγορία Games for Impact, το Pokemon Go ως το καλύτερο οικογενειακό παιχνίδι, το Civilization IV στην κατηγορία των strategy, καθώς και το Inside ως το καλύτερο παιχνίδι από ανεξάρτητη ομάδα.

Επιπλέον, ως το καλύτερο RPG αναδείχθηκε το The Witcher III: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine, ενώ βραβεύθηκαν επίσης, κατά τη διάρκεια του event, το DOOM ως ο καλύτερος action τίτλος και το Rez Infinite ως το καλύτερο VR παιχνίδι. Συν τοις άλλοις, ως ο πιο αναμενόμενος τίτλος αναδείχθηκε το The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, ενώ ως καλύτερο παιχνίδι βραβεύθηκε το Overwatch, το οποίο απέσπασε συνολικά τέσσερα βραβεία, περισσότερα από κάθε άλλο.
