Η Microsoft δημοσίευσε τα πλήρη τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά του Microsoft HoloLens, και ταυτόχρονα ανακοίνωσε ότι ξεκινά να δέχεται προ-παραγγελίες των development kits από δημιουργούς, έναντι $3.000, με τις παραδόσεις να ξεκινούν στα τέλη Μαρτίου σε Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες και Καναδά. Επίσης, μέσα στο πακέτο θα περιλαμβάνονται τρία παιχνίδια παρουσίασης τα Young Conker, Fragments και RoboRaid.
